A fantastic pair of period Art Deco Bauhaus style lounge chairs made in tubular steel with a design that appears as one continuous line throughout. They are very comfortable and have a slight spring to them due to the excellent design. The original wood frame has been re-upholstered in a grey velvet. A European produced chair but not identified as of yet. Similar design is found in the 1931 Desta Stahl Mobel catalogue as Thonet KS 45 by Anton Lorenz although these have two reinforced back bars. The pair include a matching ottoman.
